Merilyn Hernandez is a multi-disciplinary artist from Los Angeles, CA. Hernandez’s digital drawings primarily focus on documenting street culture and young emerging artists. With a heavy influence from the Impressionist and Expressionist movements, her other work focuses on finding the fine line between creation and destruction channeling raw emotion and instinct in her paintings and writing. Hernandez received a B.A. at the University of California, Merced. Her studies focused on sociology and art and she continues this practice by bringing aspects of her observations of the day to day into her art.
