I had a Ricoh GR with it's 28mm equivalent lens, for about a year, and used it on a 365 project before selling it. One of the most interesting uses of a wide angle lens is the look up shot. It allows a different perspective on the world, and gives every image an epic and surrealistic look. It is always interesting to try and have a human gesture incorporated into the shot as well. Often to get this done requires a stealthy approach, and that is where having a very small camera like the GR is quite useful. I liked the way that this well dressed gentleman was looking off to the side, his broad brimmed hat frames his face, which has just enough light on it to make it look quite dramatic, complementing the angle. I was not sure about the hoarding at first, but I think the complementary colours work well enough. I also dig the reflection in his glasses which kind of repeats the reflections in the windows above.
