This is interesting...
I upgraded to iOS 8.0.2 last night.
My phone just rang with an incoming call. And then so did my iPad. That's very interesting to me. (I don't get many incoming phone calls.)
Now, I wonder how to place a call from the iPad.
Oh. Well, that certainly makes sense. You make a call from the iPad just like you would on the iPhone, from the Contacts app. But what if I don't have the contact and I need to just call up a keypad to dial...
... and it works from the Mac (running Yosemite) as well, placing the call from FaceTime or contacts.
I didn't have to do anything... this really is pretty damned cool.
