All That You Have
Look around you, what do you see? A home with serveral rooms, each room filled with things you have collected over the years, some of great value, some of sentimental value. All though are yours contained within the walls of a home.
Now imagine taking all those thing and trying to gather them together so you can carry them around, you no longer have the walls of a home. What do you give up? What do you leave behind and what do you take?
When you next step outside look at the people that are doing just that, no walls of a home and all they own they carry, sometimes in backpacks, sometimes in plastic bags, they all had homes once, they all had walls to keep their things in. They were just like you and me, someones son, daughter, brother, sister, mother, father, each with a heart, a mind and should they be cut they bleed red just like you or I.
Open your eyes.
For those that use Facebook as well as here I have created a page called The Forgotten, it a way of trying to bring to light the issues of homeless, not just in my country but in the world.
Please take a look if you so wish:
