What's intimacy for you?
For me intimacy can be a memory, an emotion or a place.
Do you usually photograph girls. Why?
I photograph what is close to me and what I like, but also that make me feel helpless.
I have always felt insecure so I wanted to feel connected to the insecurities and faults of other girls and at the same time explore my identity.
I try to convey the message that these defects can be transformed into our strength and beauty.
So now, I'm working on a new photo series "La pelle che abito" (The skin that I wear).
It’s about a slow process of self-acceptance.
For now it was not easy for me to take these pictures and I am still looking for people who are able to get involved and confront themselves and their bodies.
What type of relation there is between your photograph and nature?
The natural element helps me to create aesthetically powerful images and connect with the beauty of life.
