On Saturday night I posted a screen shot of where we were at on the development side of notifications. It was pretty far along and we were testing it internally on Monday. I was pretty confident we would push something live on Tuesday. We ended up having a bunch of conversations, spent some more time thinking about it and making tweaks here and there. I was surprised today after we launched it at how different it is from where it was just few days ago. It's actually really close to the original designs @todd and @lucian created last year.
I really like this type of development. Quick prototyping, getting it live for small groups and throwing it out into the wild for everyone to use and play with super early on. I'm sure it'll change over time as we continue to get feedback, play with it more for ourselves and continue to refine it. I like that Ello operates like this right now. It's fun to build these things.
