Denver Startup Week, Denver's annual celebration of everything tech and entrepreneurial, starts today. We're proud to be a part of and support the tech community here, and so we're especially excited about what's in store this year!
A few session highlights:
On Monday afternoon, Mike Pack will be appearing on a panel discussing the merits of unit testing as it relates to early stage companies (3pm Monday at ReadyTalk)
On Tuesday morning, Gabe Varela (and friend of Mode Set Geoff Thomas) will be presenting their approach to flexible product design (9am Tuesday at MCA Denver)
On Friday evening, Mode Set is sponsoring the Cotton Blend T-Shirt Art Show, benefitting DAVA. Stop in and check it out before or after the closing party at Galvanize! (6pm Friday at The Source)
In addition, many of our friends, collaborators, and clients will also be hosting events during the week. A few of those to check out:
On Tuesday morning, Sean Dougherty of process255 will be speaking on the topic of Android development for iOS developers.
On Tuesday afternoon, our friends at Thoughtbot are hosting a billiards and bowling happy hour for technical and design folks of all stripes
On Thursday afternoon, our friends at Turing School will be presenting an intro to programming workshop for non-developers
On Friday morning, our friends at CirrusMD will be presenting on technology-driven behavior change as it applies to the healthtech space
There are a ton of great sessions happening throughout the week, and we'll be around at many of them. Find us, say hi, and grab a t-shirt, sticker, or koozie!
