Oğul Öztunç is trained as an Architect in İstanbul and aims to expand a multidisciplinary practice focusing on Spatial Art. Through his research on relationship between space and drawing, he produced works on documentation, transformation and imagination of space using drawing as a tool. The scale of those works varies from interiors to buildings, from streets to large urban spaces. Hot topic in his work right now is exploring the story telling potential of spatial drawing and rediscovering drawing practice as a bodily and mental performance. This approach is most vividly seen in his recent work: Performative Drawing.
