I am sore today! Especially in my calf muscles. Although I've always remained active, particularly with hiking and biking, this is the furthest I have run in decades. I believe that my cardio ability is strong, but my leg muscles--particularly my ankles--need to be a lot stronger.
I'd like to keep up on this. As I've always wanted to do a Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving day, this will be my next quest. (Does anybody know of a good, fun one in the central New York region?)
