I have left my job in retail this evening. It was officially my last day and I thought to visit the place where my love for hiking, trail running, and photography began, Garrapata State Park. It was around seven years ago I discovered this place accidentally. The climb from the start of the trail next to the highway to the tip top of this mountain was challenging. It got easier to the point I did five laps of this six mile loop in eight hours. I haven't been down here in a few months so today seemed appropriate for a visit. It brought back good memories.
It's time for a new challenge. New adventure.
