Standing on Albright Peak with increasing nerves and decreasing visibility, the light that had teased us was gone. No more waiting. I cut a gap in the cornice and Patrick quickly launched into the white room to sluff out the line across the cliffs below. With every turn I couldn't help but imagine a Colorado snowpack under me, waiting to rip at any moment. But wait...I'm in the Tetons and this is safe. Is this heaven or something?
