Why 1966 Classic Ford Mustang is Best?
When most people think of a vintage Mustang, a Cherry Red 66 Mustang Coupe is probably the first thing that springs to mind. The Mustangs of 1966 were a huge hit! Ford sold over 600,000 of them that year. It was, the most popular Mustang of all time!
Ford Mustang is revealed in 1964. Ford offered over 70 different options for their Mustangs in 1966, including dealer-specific option packs. Ford offered a 289 ci V8 engine in addition to the 200ci inline six. The GT option was offered again in 1966 manual front disc brakes, grille mounted fog lights, GT gas cap, GT rocker paint stripes, GT side badges, distinctive exhaust trumpets projecting through the rear valance, and specific handling components. The Rally-Pac was another option, but it was a very seldom requested option, thus it is now a rare beast.
