RICHARD A. KIRK IS A CANADIAN VISUAL ARTIST, ILLUSTRATOR, AND AUTHOR.
He exhibits internationally. Richard has illustrated works by Clive Barker, Caitlin R. Kiernan, Christopher Golden, China Mieville, the rock band Korn and others. Richard is the author of the novels, THE LOST MACHINE (Radiolaria Studios, 2010), and NECESSARY MONSTERS (Underland Press, 2017), as well as a short story collection MAGPIE'S LADDER (PS Publications, 2019).

My work is concerned with how the internet and technology has changed the way we perceive the everyday. I start out my work by creating imagined spaces in 2D or 3D modelling programs using found images, personal photographs and 3d models; These imagined landscapes are 3D virtual reality collages that build on the Duchampian legacy of the ready-made and the collage. This process allows me to create a truly unique reality that can then be drawn upon as source material for oil and tablet paintings.

Amanda is a Seattle-based artist, whose work focuses on the rare and elusive, as well as commonplace flora and fauna. Through use of pen, ink, gouache, colored pencil and acrylic paint, Amanda strives to bring elements of the wilderness into our everyday. Whether the viewer finds a moment’s escape from city life in the wildlife depicted, or if the art elicits curiosity in the indigenous species found within the Pacific Northwest, these are the forces which drive her work.
Amanda graduated with a certificate in Natural Science Illustration from the University of Washington, and her work has been shown throughout Washington, Oregon, and Alaska.
