Don't disturb the shingles!
The cliche goes that we are all shingles and pebbles on the long and weather-beaten beach of life, at the mercy of the incoming storm, the unfolding wave, or the careless stroller.
Artists revel in the freeing process of making art, and sometimes, if this work is good, people take notice and that art creates a reaction. That's when the artist themselves becomes the source of disturbance to the pebbles and the instinctive reaction is to fight this disruption: don't disturb the shingles!
We hope that this coming book of photography will be a source of positive disturbance in your live. That you enjoy leafing through its pages, looking at the men, and following the journey we are inviting you to take with us through nature and the sometimes dark meanders of the human psyche.
