Born in the Dominican Republic, Paula lives and works in the Washington D.C. Metro Area.
Paula Saneaux paints stories of women. Her work has been exhibited in various Dominican venues, including the Museum of Modern Art, Centro León Museum, the National Gallery of Art, Cándido Bidó Museum, among others; also, she has exhibited in New York and Los Angeles. Her work is held in major public and private collections including important institutions such as the Central Bank of the Dominican republic, Cándido Bidó Museum, and in Brussels, Madrid, Mexico City, Miami, New York, Rome, Santo Domingo, Turin and Washington D.C.

hi, im sydney! or syd, if we’re cool like that 😉 my art journey began in 2019 when i discovered the world of adult coloring. slowly but surely that progressed into me trying all kinds of mediums in my coloring books. which lead me to watercolor. and it just took off from there. then i was introduced to gouache, which i quickly fell in love with, and after that, alcohol ink. then i figured might as well throw in some oil pastels too! so you could say i like to jump around. anywho, that’s a little about me. i’d love to know more about you! so if you feel like we could be friendspls don’t hesitate to reach out! i’m always open to more art friends! 🖤🎨
