Artist statement:
I'm a Spanish illustrator and pixel artist based in the UK. Being born and growing up in the island of Gran Canaria, my work draws heavy inspiration from subtropical vegetation, lots of sunshine and bright bold colours.
My illustrations have a range of influences: from travel-inspired illustrations, others inspired by the life and work of authors or other artists, to more personal work.
I want to capture how diverse and exciting our world is. Any trip is a chance for me to be inspired by other cultures and traditions. Flora and fauna, traditional clothing and performance arts are some of the aspects that flow into my work.
