Filipina artist Lui Gonzales typically uses five layers of paper to create one piece of work. She starts by tracing along the paper with a pen, rendering the likenesses of people and everyday objects in meticulous detail. Then, after layering one over the other, she systematically tears the tracing paper from top to bottom. The resulting work is a feast for the eyes, each layer beckoning the viewer to come and explore its depths. See more on Neocha Magazine.
