Printing House Square in 1865 on the east side of "The Park" and City Hall. Home of New York's major Newspapers - The New York Times, New York Tribune, The Post, The Herald, The World and The Sun, as well as the infamous Tammany Hall, the headquarters of Boss Tweed and the Democratic machine than ran the city. In the later years of the 19th century the newspaper would build the city's first skyscrapers here and this stretch would be known as Newspaper Row. Now of course its just Park Row.
