My current election dilemma:
(Allison's quotes are translations for buzzwords and what they really mean).
Allison Grimes: "I am in the pocket of big coal, I want to destroy the environment. "
McConnell: "No really, she is not in the pocket of big coal. She supports the environment. She's lying"
Allison Grimes: "I don't believe in gun control. I think citizens should continue to run amok and kill each other"
McConnell: "No really, she wants to take away guns. She's a typical liberal."
Allison Grimes: on gay rights "<crickets chirping>"
Allison Grimes: on police brutality "<crickets chirping>"
Allison Grimes: "I'm a republican"
McConnell: "No she isn't."
I want to believe McConnell, but republicans lie about absolutely everything so I am more inclined to believe the candidate herself, and therefore can not vote for her. Either that or she is lying about absolutely everything she believes, in which case, I still shouldn't vote for her. I don't want McConnell to win, but I don't want ANY republican to win, and as far as I can tell, Allison Grimes is a republican. What to do? What to do?
