When you dream about someone...
should you tell them?
I dreamt I knew them well. That the hugs were perfect
and my dress was pretty
And I wanted their eyes to look at me more.
Do I tell them?
Do I dress up or down that feeling I got
in thinking "finally."
I skipped through puddles of the rain
in a flared skirt
And people thought I was drunk, but I wasn't.
Turns out I was dreaming.
