This collection was taken while storm watching on Vancouver Island's west coast. The waves reached a staggering 9-10 meters in hight on the day. It was one of the most incredible things I have ever witnessed!! I've never in my life seen a more dramatic display of power. Surprisingly there was no rain, or wind, just massive waves. In fact the sun even crept through the clouds and created a magnificent array of light rays.
ps. This was shot at 50mm, so there's not any telephoto compression at play. In fact I was a little too close for comfort at times.
