Every year, for one month, I create a collage a day using inspiration from landscapes photographs that people send me. In 2017 I opened it up to the Ello community and received a great many photos from around the world, thanks to Ello reposting my project. With gratitude to fellow Ello'ers @c4f3mineraux , @markfarmer and @surely_iam for the photos that inspired these three images, 'Mata Atlântica', 'Oarai Tori' and 'Hassayampa River Running'. Collage allows me to explore a greater abstraction of the content, transporting the work into a metaphorical field that is no longer restricted to the authorship of the photograph and my artistic experience alone, instead expanding into a shared universe of experiences of travel within humanity.
