Nishe is a French visual artist whose textual and visual polysemic creations revolve around different concepts, processes and themes :
Text/image duality, interpretation, perception, deciphering, questioning, context and temporality.
Inspired by Visual and Concrete Poetry, her experimental paintings contains cryptic geometric words playing around those ideas of perception of words and images, often by deconstructing, blurring and mixing up traditional ways of reading a word (vertical/horizontal mirrored or tilted words, specular writing, palindromes, anagrams, …).
Each one is an invitation to think about the whole wide different (and often very personal) meanings a simple word can take for us.
