A series of visuals (real paintings, digitized) adjusted on blank Pactimo cycling jerseys.
I really liked experimenting a lot on this series, fitting all the shapes and colours on those cycling jerseys.
I've been very inspired by "Le Tour de France", which is something I've been watching (IRL and on TV) every single summer since I was a kid.
I had the chance to live in south of France, close to some very famous stages and spots of the event.
While creating those visuals, I had in mind the very colorful sensation you feel when you are on the side of a road, watching all the riders passing by at full speed. It's a very unique feeling.
With all those brush strokes and furious lines visuals, I wanted to represent speed, waves and curves of roads, and every unique and personal way of riding a bike, but also natural elements which always keep company to all riders (water/rain, wind, heat, earth/soil ...).

Bio : Nishe - French visual Artist.
Inspired by Concrete and Visual Poetry, my experimental paintings contains cryptic geometric words playing around wide ideas of perception and interpretation of words and images, often by deconstructing, blurring and mixing up traditional ways of reading a word (vertical/horizontal mirrored or tilted words, specular writing, palindromes, anagrams, antonyms ...) Each one is an invitation to think about the whole wide different meanings a simple word can take for us.
