Title: "Hokjes & Hokjesdenken"
Explained by: Mainstudio (The Netherlands) & Savvy Studio (Mexica)
Dutch people tend to label, to order or to create categorizations. They think in terms of systems and grids in order to make things less complex. Driving through cities and countryside you can notice structures, clusters, patterns of the fields, road and houses.
“Hokjes” literally means cube, square, categories, cage. Dutch dictionaries put it as ”Having a simplified view of the world”.
