Begin with two points, the binary options, then transform those points into a gradient bar, a scale along which every option between points A and B is possible. Now imagine that that bar spins along its center point, becoming a circular spectrum, the binary points have been removed, but this model is still limited, it is only 2 dimensional, relient on being an anti-binary system. I want a system that allows for all possibilities of time, not just along a flat surface, so we must expand the circular spectrum into a sphere that encompasses the spectrum and everything above and below it, then we can dissolve the boundaries of the sphere and make it into a focused space that understands every step that has been taken before it. What is the next step? Who knows? I cannot fathom how to expand this further, but I am sure that it can be done, and that is where queer temporality lies: in the past that was the future, in the future that the present, in the future that is yet to come, and in the things that we cannot understand from our place in the now.
