For the last few months the herald of rain season is coming. Weather can change and suddenly it rains in the afternoon (at the best time to take pictures). Not to mention Kickstarter has been ruining my bank account. But well, let's start again.
It's been like two years since I last went to the Art Market in Ancol beach park. I heard story about its glory days back in the 70s to 90s where artists blooms there. Alas things has quiet down and seems like not many still have enough in their budget to fit in artworks.
And then the second spot is because somebody in the doll group brought up about photo in sandy beach few weeks ago.
Jakarta's sand are not the tourism booklet white. Have to go to island resort to get such thing. Actually the sand is "cloudy white balance" yellow, or in more sad locations, black.
But I thought, maybe there is. In the spirit of tourism business who can fake something as long as it's for high paying clients, I went to the eastern beach of the beach park. There's a mall there and they sometimes held concert in the place. I also vaguely remember there's "no photo without giving money to the management " sign.
If it's this place, maybe...
And it's true. Seems like they actually cover the beach with soft and white sands, although some places are still with the original colour which makes it looks like PL filter going funny or something like it with white sand suddenly change into yellowish sand.
Also either because the beach is more remote, or because the bumpers/security guards are ordered to have economic class discrimination, there are less family doing weekend picnic over here compared to the very crowded other beaches in the vicinity.
