With a background in Cultural Studies, and an ongoing pursuit of philosophy, the artist is compelled to communicate abstractly, with multiple meanings, puzzles, pluralism and thinking that visual art provokes.
Jeanne Teolis (@jeanneteolis)
American collagist, Jeanne Teolis lives and works in upstate, New York. She is a collector of ephemera, scouring used book shops, yard sales, and junk shops to incorporate it in her collage work. Art has always been her passion, growing up she created many small masterpieces for her mother, drawing, cutting and pasting whatever she could get her hands on. To Jeanne, collage is an adventure, using found images from vintage magazines, and books, starting with one piece she lets the rest unfold with limitless possibilities. She finds inspiration in everyday life, and has much fun creating art to share. Jeanne continues to explore and experiment with new forms
