Pleased that since I reevaluated what I was eating and cut out the snacks and unnecessary caloric beverages (like those cursed delicious Arizona 99 cent lemon iced teas!) I have already lost 6.5 pounds. Mealwise I am still eating what I want, just doing better portion control as well. I would not call this a diet so much as a return to a healthier way of eating.
I also largely but not exclusively follow a vegetarian diet at home, with the occasional fish with a meal here and there. I say this not to be one of those annoying vegans who preach veganness endlessly but just to share with you my approach to improving my health. Everyone should do and eat what they feel works for them.
Soon when the weather is warm enough I will get back into cycling, which does wonders for my mood.
