My pal Babydoll Schultz (aka, The Female Illusion of Mr. David Richardson) turned me on to Fassbinder films a while back - which I love. If you're the kind of individual that can sit still and read subtitles, you might like them, too. Although "The Bitter Tears of Petra van Kant" has some terrific lines, the black & white "Veronika Voss" of 1982 has more action and is my favorite. In this clip, a taste of Veronika's stony Teutonic eleganza : http://youtu.be/l8sH6ztFkfE - but the entire film is up right now as well. xo.
