Oleg Agafonov (@oleg_agafonov_artist)

Oleg Agafonov was born in a mining village near Tula. During his school years, he practised in the studio of Regina Petrovna Solovyova, where he studied academic drawing and painting and alternative graphic techniques. In 2010, Oleg received his BFA from Tula State University. His work can be found in numerous public and private collections in Russia and Europe. His paintings participate in competitions and auctions. His latest series of works include Falling Skies and Not a Wine Book. The artist’s style has evolved from academic art to abstracting and continues to expand his practice, incorporating contemporary art trends into his work.
