Using raw materials or imitating natural textures, without polishing or adornment. At the same time chromatic layering a lot of painting layers imitate of historic pages on the building's walls with layered vintage plaster surfaces. Such rough textures retain and communicate the beauty of roughness from vintage Hungarian architecture.
For the base of this painting, I used a set of sketches from my travel in Hungary and Austria. That's about the cycle of each empire, about phantoms of every empire which pursue them in the form of architecture, golden decors, and great shapes, sculptures. Only stone, only memories, and dreams about the greatest days.
And up to now phantoms only wander among beautiful Empire’s vintage architectural forms with golden slices on the walls.
