From flint to silicon
Because digital technology unites all forms, the pixel, the byte, it becomes a tool that makes all possible. In the domain of visual art, digital art has this potential. The most recent of man’s means of expression, it seems to make possible that which the earliest painters produced on the walls of prehistoric caves.
In adhering to the symbolism of shape and that which it awakens in the sub conscience, digital composition offers the perspective of a revival in art. As we have seen previously, the digital tool that unites all forms necessarily brings the points of view of different cultures closer together.
The aim is not to create a single language but the opposite, to use elements common to all to create an expression unique to the individual, but comprehensible to all, and therefore allowing the continuity of traditional forms in modern space.
We are all the result of an interrupted experience which forms our cultural base, our memory.
As an artist, I would like to be a mediator whose role is to rediscover and revive the links which unify people with the most hidden symbols, this is my aim.
