I lived in a hundred year old school house in England when I was little and have these weird memories of playing with ghost children, especially in this burnt out corner of the yard where I would crawl under some bramble and it was all charcoal up to the walls, light would break through. I'd come inside and tell my mom I was playing with the ghosts. There was a shed that had a bunch of glass vials and bottles in it. Then when I'd watch my VHS tapes, mostly Robin Hood and Peter Pan, in the teachers quarters I'd hear a faint soft voice calling my name. My parents also said if their hands were full the doors would open for them and other things that made them say it was a helpful ghost. Well years later when we lived back in the states and ABC Family was starting up they had a series about haunted houses where they wanted me, the viewer, to submit experience with haunted houses so I submitted an email explaining all the spooky things about this place. The executive producer for the show called me and talked to me about it for hours, then she called back the next day and talked about it some more, she was really into it, then she called back a third time to tell me they couldn't budget it into the show because sending the whole production crew and me with one of my parents would be too much, they had to keep it continental. So that is the story of how I almost became a ghost-youth-celeb.
