The world spins around in my teacup
as I vacantly stir the sweet liquid within.
"Is tea a drug?" I pondered lazily,
as I swallowed my daily handful of pills.
I choked on the bitter taste of the medicine
and hastily washed it down with warm tea.
"Tea is most definitely a drug, I cannot take
my medication without it!" I concluded,
feeling quite satisfied with myself and
how revolutionary that thought might be.
Then I just sat, tears filling my teacup.
