Obviously under the influence of my mother, who was a painter, I began to take photos and to process my films and prints in 1973, at 14, having the opportunity to use her studio’s bathroom as permanent laboratory.
Primarily attracted by landscapes, I did also shoot a lot of stage pictures while making my first steps in theater acting. Gradually, my interest in street and social photography grows to become my main goal today.
The photographers I admire are many with a particular liking for Garry Winogrand, Robert Doisneau, Vivian Maier, Mary Ellen Mark and Yves Leresche. I mainly worked with Nikon F2 and Rolleiflex then, in 2000, I tried the digital technolog
