Real & Inverted Colors
Cameras snap selfies, mirroring an image.
Pens pen impressions mirroring a mood.
Minds form impressions mirroring an experience.
Where cameras are all about show
and pens are about tell;
a mind is about how and why.
An impressionist lives with feelings
he/she builds from the outer world internalized.
Time is only a curve of growth and maturation
for an impressionist mind never a frame or dimension.
But if you ask me about my self right now,
I’d tell you my camera shoots photos in color
and my phone has filters for tones and blemishes.
But my impressionist mind only mirrors one color
at a time and today it’s blue as can be.
So don’t ask me what my impressionist mind
would make me look like through a selfie
for that would be asking me to equate
an HD photo in full color with an inverted png.
