We adopted this girl about a year ago, today she became a princess. We recalled how she was when we adopted her; locked up in a cage inside a dark store room, walking in circles, messy soiled hair, skin rashes, tearful eyes, scary whoever walks near her. When we brought her home, she hides in the darkest corner throughout the day, barely could walk straight, only walks in cirles. When I carried her in my arms, I felt only bones covered by her messy hair, I looked at her and saw this layer of white jelly stuff over her eyes so I brought her to our regular Vet the next day. The Vet gave her an injection, special shampoo, ear drops, eye drops etc etc...finally the hair cut, I was shocked to see the conditions on her body...Who the hell could have done this to her? The Vet told me that her eyes is not wet but dry, she will have to depend on eye drops everyday for as long as she lives.
We spent a lot of time trying to to know her, to showed her that we love and care about her although she spent most of her time in the dark corner.
Today she is the princess among some of our dogs. Playful, started barking, no more walking in cirles, beautiful hair and we can see her smiling...A dog is probably the only animal that loves you more than he loves himself!
