I live in Venezuela, yes, that little country in South America that have been causing a lot of noise in the last 20 years because "socialism", trust me on this one, this is not socialism, at least, not in the way tht the books says and don't get me wrong, I don't consider myself a socialist.
For the past 5 days we had an electricity blackout that have caused dead, even more poverty, different kinds of strugles for everyone, on those days it didn't matter if someone was rich or poor... the only thing that mattered is that we struggle every single hour to keep ourselfs and our loved ones safe and alive. Some parts of Venezuela still don't have electricity (145+ hours) and most don't have clean water for at least the last 7 days, in some cities, the pipes deliver a black mix of water and a fetid liquid.
Many journalist have been inprisoned for telling the truth, there is no free press and little to none free speech, Maduro's government is trying to pass a law that will keep the internet access monitored (like in Russia, China and North Korea).
We live in a strange bubble, everyone is struggling in different ways. Here no one is truly free.
