腹膜癌有腹水能活多久？生活中，我們經常聽人說，誰誰患了晚期癌症了，醫生打開肚子直接就縫上了，已經沒治了。這在過去可能是事實，因為過去對腹腔廣泛轉移的腫瘤病人，普遍公認姑息治療，甚至手術也沒有多少把握，患者飽受病痛折磨，生存期只需短暫。然而醫學發展到今天，這種所謂晚期癌症已經有了突破性的治療方法。
首先來認識一下腹膜癌。大部分腹膜癌為轉移癌，一般哪些腫瘤患者容易發展成腹膜癌呢?通常胃癌、結直腸癌、卵巢癌、腹膜假黏液瘤、腹膜惡性間皮瘤、原發性腹膜癌等腹盆腔惡性腫瘤局域性進展易形成腹膜表面腫瘤，我們稱之為腹膜癌病(peritoneal carcinomatosis,簡稱PC)。這種病在臨床並不少見，胃癌侵及漿膜層常導致PC，15％-50％患者初診即存在PC，35％-50％患者術後復發的主要形式為PC。約10％的結直腸癌患者初診即發現PC，4％-19％的患者在根治術後隨訪期發生PC，25％-35％的複發患者以PC為唯一表現。 II b期以上的卵巢癌均可發生PC，原發性腹膜癌和腹膜惡性間皮瘤的臨床病理過程均為典型PC表現，腹膜假黏液瘤較為罕見，多來源於闌尾，其臨床病理過程也為典型的PC。
隨著癌症研究的深入及治療技術的進步，醫學界對腹膜癌的認識已經發生了根本性轉變，目前已將其納入局域性病變，而非廣泛性轉移。針對此病創建了以細胞減滅術加術中和術後早期腹腔熱灌注化療為主的綜合治療策略，綜合利用手術切除、區域化療、熱療和大容量液體的灌洗作用，通過細胞減滅術切除腹膜及腹盆腔肉眼可見癌組織，再通過熱灌注化療協同作用清除術後殘留
