Peim van der Sloot (NL) grew up in Argentina and returned to the Netherlands to graduate at the Academy of the Arts in Utrecht in 2010. Working in the lively niches in between visual arts, design and performance results in projects presented and exhibited in different museums and galleries worldwide. Through a range of graphic techniques including sticker-collages and silkscreen he plays with the visual perception of the viewer, focusing on the relationship between shapes/colors and how they effect the retina and the mind. With a minimalist approach he reacts to contemporary issues in an often abstract but critical way. Peim is part of Amsterdam’s emerging art scene and founder of the collectives PoCoLoCo and This is Not Propaganda.
