Growing up was rough, lots of rejection in middle school, high school. Teasing that kind of thing. It made me feel like I didn't belong, like I never fit in. I don't feel like that anymore. I'm proud of my uniqueness. I feel that I am very blessed.
It help me become strong and come into my own and when that finally happens it just had a bigger impact, I suppose because I had the strength from enduring trauma.
When I was little I had a pink panther. I loved it with all my heart. It actually is in the garage still, The original pink panther. It was my baby. I would take naps with him. I felt very safe with him.
