I have been in the mortgage business for a long time and I don’t find myself an insider, I’m more of an outsider. I think differently and I approach life differently. I tend to be kind of happy and even though things are not alway good I like that attitude better than my cynical side that I have felt at times. When you are a happy person people are attracted to you so you attract all kinds of things. I do find the alternative much more attractive and familiar to me than some mainstream of lifestyle.
When I was about 13, maybe even younger someone read Siddhartha on the radio and that changed my life and changed how I felt about life. It made me different than others and it made me think different. It opened an alternative world to me that allowed me to think outside of the box that I was raised in.
When I was little I had a stuffed animal it was like a little pig head. It was a little round pig and it had a little flat bottom so he could sit down but he was kind a poofy. I started collecting pigs after that. It was my favorite animal. He slept on my bed, he slept with me.
