Concept: Black and White self taken details of my circle body art tattoos. Currently there are 4 circles that have inked in sets of two at a time, I have a plan for 14 circles to compete this body art piece that I call “Phase Space”. The tattoo as a whole and it’s parts track my personal journey of internal and external transformation I have had over the past 8 years since finding out, at age 32, that I am a Klinefelter’s Male and have an XXY 47 Chromosome make up. This is very personal journey that I’m am now wanting to share through artistic expression with permanent body markings, photography and words. I am currently planing the next set of tattoos comprising 2 sets of 3 circles each. If accepted into this publication I will document the tattooing process as the final imagery for the publication. The entire Phase Space body art piece is a series of 14 circle rings that each fit into each other and range in size from the largest at 88mm across o the smallest 8mm dot. Klinefelter’s XXY Syndrome affects approximately 1:650 males in the population and is therefore reasonably common though is still vastly unknown and not talked about. I would hope that my finished work can help to educate and inform people about this Syndrome and the identity of the XXY Male. #blacklistedmag
- Shoulder tattoo: I have done symmetric ink on both the shoulders, these are about strength and movement 2. Hip tattoo: I have done symmetrical tattoos on both hips where I now have testosterone injected every 10 weeks. This shows the needle bruising from my last shot. These were my first tattoos and are about me being in control of my own body and not my body being in control of me.
