Emore - A place where amore and emoji cross their paths
This project was made for my graduation project for the Bachelor Illustration at the HKU in Utrecht the Netherlands.
In the world where emoji has become the new code language I was trying to find an unique way to communicate in love, romance and sex. By using code language people can talk openly about sex without being too explicit. Even though there are thousands and thousands of emoji's available for us to use I still missed a conversation of any depth when emoji's were used. However the way we use code language now is very flat out. The emoji's are overall used to communicate about the 'the deed'.
Instead of looking for new solutions I looked at the problem: the emoji's. Although we have thousands and thousands of emoji's, I missed the ones that could be more suggestive and had more depth. That is why I created the emoji package Emore. An Emoji package where amore and emoji cross paths. The package is specifically aimed at the subjects love, romance and sex. The emoji's don't have any meaning yet until you use it in context with your partner.
