ISN'T LOVE ENOUGH ?
When I go to visit relatives in Paris, I often walk near the Eiffel Tower. It is a preferred spot for many future couples, who are often accompanied by professional photographers. They are building the images of their “True Love” with the famous tower in the background.
Why has the Eiffel Tower become so popular for this purpose? is there any hidden love charm that it awakens? To those who confuse Love with sexual desire, its shape might be associated with something else perhaps, but it shouldn’t. Of course, Paris is quite a “romantic” place, but here we have neither a casual trip to Paris, nor some Honeymoon pictures. It is an industry: people are running from one spot to the other. Sometimes a photographer arrives with 3 or 4 couples, and they are waiting for their turn, taking the pose, smiling….
I bet most of those images will find their way to the social media. Today, if you are not “seen”, you don’t exist. We have fallen into the realm of the Visible. But how can you shoot “Love”? How can you photograph real Love, the invisible and subtle one?
You must be patient, wait for the right moment, accept that maybe you won’t get what look for today, maybe it’ll happen another day…. and the most important- You must forget about Facebook!
