Poetry by H. J. Cross (@hjcross_poetry)
My poetry is often the unraveling of my deepest thoughts. I find ordering them into poetry can give me clarity. I might also include the occasional short story. Sometimes, it is raw and transparent. Other times, it may be a way for me to release some destructive thinking with sarcasm. However, all of it is me.

Been around the block a few times. Tripped. Got up. Still sore. Still here. Take pictures for fun. No profit. Hope you enjoy some of the ones I post.

I started analogue photography in 1955 at the age of 12. There was only "black and white photography" for me at that time. At school, later at work and as a hobby, I also learned how to develop films in the laboratory.
My interest in motifs encompasses all areas of life accessible to me.
Since 2008 I also take digital photography and am particularly interested in the many possibilities of image editing.
Drawing and painting, also digitally, is another hobby I learned in school.
The contact with like-minded people at ello shows me how nice it is to see and learn new things over and over again

I have recently picked up my camera and paintbrush in a serious way after eighteen years because I have felt compelled to focus on what is important and what fulfills me. I was diagnosed with cancer a year ago and have been undergoing treatments for that period of time which has forced me to re-evaluate my life and the importance of being here now. I expect that I will be here with all of you for many years to come. All of the artwork I complete isa physical and mental healing part of my journey!

Raffi (@raffix)
Multidisciplinary overthinker. When I'm not overthinking, I love to design, sculpt and paint.
I studied fine arts but somehow I got into graphic design, had fun for a while until it stopped. I've decided to throw out all the rule books and just do what I love and what makes me happy.
My work is a cross between graphic design, abstract art and illustration.
