Shoe Polish Advertisement 1956
In the 50s, the shoe polish company Griffin Microsheen started an advertisement campaign with females in revealing clothing. The ads were for men’s shoe polish but a man’s face or foot rarely made an appearance in the campaign. For the 50s the Griffin Microsheen advertisements were fairly naughty. Of course the campaign was a good match with Playboy Magazine.
