Polly (@pol_ben)
My artistic practice involves various investigations into my surrounding landscape/environment in order to re-visualise an experience of my own, and represent an experience for the viewer.
Combining my interests of museology, science, and the surroundings I find myself in, whether that’s where I walk everyday or places I visit for the first time, I investigate the re-representation of things that are very familiar to me, along with surroundings that are still very unknown.

#acmespace genius loci - one can look no further than your own surroundings and allow the passage of time to establish a new form of meaning.

You can call me a "creative". I have worked in TV - entertainment marketing for most of my career. That is where I do stuff like people see in the Richard Scarry Book -"What Do People Do All Day". In this context we call "art", I do things for no "good" reason. Here I play with ideas and how to manifest them. social media is a good place to take work beyond my garage or basement. As of late - I have been working in the clea space of flat graphics that coalesce into various shapes that hopefully bring a little joy or sadness into any viewers life.

Artist (Collect - Disassemble - Create)
In my art, I study people and their mutual connections. These relationships are a recurring theme. My work is an ongoing study, and each single work is a link, a next step in my process. Each work teaches me something about my relationship towards others, about mutual connections and bonds.
Loneliness, power, control, dependency and trust are recurring themes.
