"I." / "II." / "III." / "IV." from the Pulsations series by visual artist Polygon.
Polygon is a visual artist and filmmaker from Paris, France. He creates his pieces by using broken and circuit-bent analog video synths from the 80s, allowing him to bring to life alterations on real photographies. His latest series named "Pulsations" is based on frequencies responses inspired by Peter Saville's famous album artwork he designed for Joy Division. At first, it can be seen as an abstract series of works but as you slowly take a step back, shapes begin to appear to finally become human entities. These optical illusions were designed thanks to an error during the conversion between digital to analog signals. It's like these entities are ready to take a step into our world.
